Travel Surgical First Assistant (SFA) - $1,863 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Title: First Assist Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-19:00 Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in current role License: Certification required Certifications: STFA or RNFA; CPR Must-Have: Multi-year OR experience in the current role (RN, CST, FA, RNFA). Description: The unit is a well-staffed and equipped main operating room with advanced technology. It has a patient ratio of 1:1 and includes 20 beds. The typical staffing includes 1 RN, 1 CST, and 1 First Assist per OR room. Equipment used includes DaVinci Xi robots, Mazor robots, and Stealth Navigation. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include a commitment to 36-40 hours per week with call shifts as needed (no more than 1 per week). Floating to other ORs may be required during low census. Preferred skills include endovascular experience, DaVinci robotics experience, and Meditech charting experience. Advanced surgical experience in various specialties is desirable, such as neurosurgery, orthopedic spine surgery, and robotic surgeries. The dress code consists of navy or ceil blue scrubs, which are required. Unit guidelines and policies apply, which candidates will need to adhere to.
