Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assist Profession: Surgical First Assist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:45 am - 7:15 pm) Experience: 2+ years of CSFA experience required License: Michigan license verification required for nurses Certifications: BLS (AHA), NBSTSA, NCCT Must-Have: 2+ years of CSFA experience Description: Client has implemented a strict attendance policy. This policy is intended to advocate for the patient population. Any contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be taken into consideration. This policy will begin on June 1, 2024. Surgical services represent a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties. Both general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving procedures are areas of expertise. The organization has pioneered many surgical techniques and tools. There is a commitment to continually enhance care and outcomes for all surgical patients. A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. Physical copies of certifications are required if listed above. Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment. One weekend of on-call duty per month is required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am), rotating holidays.
