Job Title: First Assist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Cardiothoracic, Open Heart Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: 2+ years in scrubbing and first assisting in open heart surgeries, including CABG on and off pump, robotic, and laparoscopic lungs. License: Required state licensure for surgical technicians. Certifications: CSFA Must-Have: Experience in cardiothoracic/open heart first assisting (CABG). Description: The flagship hospital is known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. It is the most technologically sophisticated facility in the region. The facility offers specialized services including a Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery, and High-risk Obstetrical Care. It provides a wide range of specialties including bariatrics, brain and spine, cancer care, cardiology, critical care, diabetes care, general surgery, GI and digestive health, imaging, interventional radiology, orthopedics, palliative care, rehabilitation services, surgical services, trauma services, and women's health. Candidates are required to complete and clear screenings before starting. The position will include on-call requirements during weekends and designated nights.
