Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, CSFA, NBSTSA, NCCSA Must-Have: - Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience - CSFA certification required Description: Position requires privileging process prior to starting. Privileging process may take approximately 120 days from the time of signature. Candidate must complete the privileging process before starting. Schedule is days only. Weekend work is only required during call. Call is 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs. Floating within the facility and to the Main OR as needed will be required. No holiday requests for time off will be accepted. Full compliance is required to ensure timely start. If not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to the orientation schedule. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit. If clinically approved and compliant, candidates will be submitted to the hiring manager for final decision. Agency requests for time off must follow specific guidelines. Management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to support unit needs.
