Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: CVOR experience required Must-Have: Must be able to proficiently harvest vein endoscopically. Must be able to scrub independently. Must have rating of 3s or 4s in vein harvesting and cardiac areas. Willingness to float to general department first assistant coverage when cardiac is not applicable. Description: Seeking a CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant for a day shift position. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting. The position requires the ability to scrub independently in the CVOR. Experience in circulating and charge nurse roles is beneficial. Previous travel experience is preferred. Weekend and call requirements include 2-3 weekends per month and 12-18 days per month. Daily census ranges from 80-100 cases. Additional responsibilities will include coverage for various surgical specialties.
