Responsibilities include lifting heavy items, transporting patients, and cleaning and turning over rooms. The position requires strong customer service skills. Travelers will be oriented during the first three weeks to familiarize themselves with the unit. Work hours for the orientation period may differ from the standard shift. ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety training will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory.
