Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and an MD or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery
• Diverse patient population including trauma, GI surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, transplant, vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery patients
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Float as needed to areas of like skill set

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required
• Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count required
• Critical Care Certification, trauma course completion, ACLS, and EPIC experience preferred
• 2 previous travel assignments preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU and post-surgical ICU patients
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
