Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring ICU, telemetry, and Epic experience along with an active MA RN license.

Details

  • Work in a 24-bed high acuity Surgical Intensive Care Unit
  • Clinical specialties include General Surgery, Trauma, Transplant, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Level one trauma center caring for acutely ill patients requiring additional acute therapies
  • 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  • No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • ICU and telemetry experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must be proficient in medications and dysrhythmias for Day 1 pass/fail testing

Additional Information

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high quality, patient-centered care
  • Day 1 pass/fail testing administered covering medications and dysrhythmias
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, or contract) prior to consideration
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
