**Join Our Surgical Oncology Team as an RN!** **Job Description:** - Position / Specialty: RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - Shifts: NIGHTS - Various days of the week - Years of Experience Required: 2 years acute care - First-timers Accepted: Yes, teaching hospital experience required for first travel assignment - Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs - Certifications Required: AHA BLS, CO or Compact RN license - On-call Requirement: No - Floating Requirement: Yes, float within scope to meet facility needs and may float to sister facilities - Total Staffed Beds: 36 - Charting System: Epic - Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:6; may flex based on staffing and unit needs - Scrub Color: Navy - Special Requirements: - Teaching hospital experience required - Majority of procedures and diagnoses focused on abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) - Care provided to patients with known cancer diagnoses needing surgical interventions to manage their disease process or complications - Nursing staff assists patients in achieving specific post-op milestones for discharge - No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy administered on this unit - Chemo certification not required to apply **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
