Job Opportunity – Sterile Processing Technician – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Mid shift, 5x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), no on-call, no weekends required. 13-week assignment through January 4, 2027.

Highlights:

• Work at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 21 operating rooms
• Epic charting system in use; experience preferred
• Robotics experience greatly preferred, including Da Vinci surgical systems
• First-time travelers welcome; no floating between units required
• Free parking provided at the facility
• Trauma Level I experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active Sterile Processing Technician certification (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA)
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required
• Experience with robotic instrumentation required
• Proficiency in sterilization procedures, high-level disinfection, equipment documentation, and case cart management
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties including General, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, and Endoscopy
• Knowledge of steam sterilization, biological and chemical indicators, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
