Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Block schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 13-week assignment (91 days).
Highlights:- Work at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 21 operating rooms
- Block schedule format with consistent weekend coverage
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Robotics experience, including Da Vinci systems, greatly preferred
- Exposure to diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, and transplant
- First-time travelers welcome; no on-call required
Requirements:- Active Oregon state license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience
- Knowledge of Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) and robotics preferred
- Experience with steam sterilization, high-level disinfection, case cart preparation, and equipment documentation
- Proficiency with washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and proper instrument handling
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Reliable transportation required for this assignment
