Travel Surgical Tech - $1,326 to $1,526 per week in Denver, CO

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Denver, CO at a hospital. You will function as a member of a cardiac and specialty surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the OR, sterilizing and managing instruments and devices, and providing direct support to the surgical team during cases including neuro, transplants, ortho, and spine procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• DORA certification as required by the client prior to submission.
• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Experience in CVOR or surgical environments involving ortho/joint procedures.
• BLS certification.
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I and trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with neuro and transplant procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a team player with high accountability and self-direction.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Call required.
• Unit has approximately 14 ORs and a staff of about 70 FTEs.
• Typical night shift staffing: 1 charge, 1 RN, 1 ST per OR.
