Travel Surgical Tech - $1,337 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care setting License: CST Certification Certifications: BLS, NBSTA, DORA Must-Have: - Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as CST - Ortho/Joint experience Description: This is a travel position for a CST in the Operating Room. The operational hours are from 7 AM to 7 PM. The unit features 14 operating rooms and approximately 70 staff FTEs. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, and 1 surgical technologist per operating room during the day shift. On the night shift, there is 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, and 1 surgical technologist. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 but are not guaranteed. The equipment used includes EMR systems. Ideal candidates should have experience in Ortho/Spine procedures and neuro and transplants. Strong team collaboration and self-direction are essential. Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed is required. There are 1-2 on-call shifts each week from 5 PM to 7 PM. Candidates with level I and trauma experience and prior EMR experience will be considered a priority.
