Travel Surgical Tech - $1,338 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR CST Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years preferred License: South Carolina RN License preferred Certifications: NBSTSA, BLS, Clienttion Badge required Must-Have: - Experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) Cases preferred - Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs - Up to 4 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule Description: A position is available for a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. The shift consists of three 12-hour days from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with a holiday rotation. Weekends are required at a rate of one weekend shift per four-week schedule period. The traveler may need to float between similar units to meet facility requirements. Common cases include total joints, spine, trauma, crani, ENT, robotics, transplants, procurements, trauma, burns, GU, and GYN. First-timers are accepted. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. The facility is a busy level-one academic trauma center with 21 operating room suites covering all surgical specialties. The nursing team comprises both Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. The environment is dynamic and utilizes cutting-edge technology. Travelers should be aware of hurricane season, which runs from June through November, and may be assigned to emergency response teams.
