Travel Surgical Tech - $1,348 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified Operating Room Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: South Carolina RN License preferred Certifications: NBSTSA, BLS, Clienttion Badge required Must-Have: Experience in Neuro, ENT, and Robotics cases preferred. Description: Position specializes in operating room surgical technology. Will work three 12-hour shifts, days, rotating holidays. Weekend requirement: One weekend shift per four-week schedule period. May be required to take on-call shifts, up to four per four-week schedule period. Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs. Common cases include ortho, neuro, ENT, robotics, transplants, trauma, burns, GU/GYN. Experience with total joints, spine, trauma, crani, and Da Vinci Xi robotics is highly preferred. First-time travelers will be accepted. Clienttion badge must be provided. The facility is a level-one trauma center with a busy operating room. Expect to assist with a variety of surgical cases. Nursing team consists of a mix of registered nurses and surgical technologists. The environment is dynamic and utilizes cutting-edge technology. Hurricane season runs from June through November; be prepared for emergency assignments during this time. Vaccination requirements include a flu vaccine, with medical and religious exemptions considered. Compliance with documentation and scheduling protocols is mandatory. All time-off requests must be submitted upfront. A focus on professional conduct and teamwork is essential in this role.
