Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join their Operating Room team on a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician

Assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
Preparing patient skin for surgery in accordance with hospital standards
Maintaining aseptic techniques and monitoring for breaches
Transporting patients to and from the Operating Room
Positioning patients based on the type of surgery
Identifying and caring for biological specimens
Setting up tables, instruments, and supplies for procedures
Scrubbing in and maintaining sterile field during surgeries
Using physician preference cards for setting up OR
Ensuring a safe environment with proper aseptic practices
Demonstrating expertise in surgical supplies and equipment

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician

BLS certification from AHA required
Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required
Completion of Surgical Technology or accredited LVN/LPN program required
2 or more years of experience preferred
