Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team in the Operating Room in Santa Fe, NM, on a travel assignment. This role is crucial for assisting in pre-operative patient care, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting the surgical team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician- Prepare patient skin for surgery following hospital standards
- Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for any breaches
- Provide comfort and support for pre-operative patients
- Transport patients to and from the Operating Room
- Position patients according to the type of surgery
- Identify and care for biological specimens
- Prepare the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies
- Establish and maintain the sterile field, assist physician as directed
- Ensure that preference cards are kept up to date
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in using surgical supplies and equipment
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of the Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program
- BLS certification required
- Certified Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License required
- 2 or more years of experience preferred
