Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: DORA Certifications: NBSTSA Must-Have: Candidates must have DORA and NBSTSA Certifications. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. On-call response time within 30 minutes is required. Description: This position involves traveling as a CST in the operating room. The main operating room consists of multiple operating rooms. Candidates will work with Electronic Medical Records systems. The typical hiring profile seeks travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. The unit performs a variety of typical procedures including total joints, spine, transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics. Candidates with 3+ years of experience will be preferred. The director is particularly seeking candidates with transplant and/or spine experience. No set schedules are provided; initial shifts will be scheduled, followed by self-scheduling options. Weekend on-call is required, usually consisting of 8-12 calls per 8-week period. Any additional factors that may attract candidates include new equipment or technology and the experience of the staff.
