Job Title: CST Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NBSTA Certification Certifications: DORA Certification, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current acute care CST hospital experience. Candidates must possess NBSTA and DORA Certifications. BLS certification is required. Description: This position involves working in the Main OR. There are 23 operating rooms and a team of 70 staff members. The team typically includes charge nurses, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. The unit performs elective surgical cases including orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology procedures. A flexible personality is a best-fit for this role. Patient care experience is a priority. Call is required with a 30-minute response time. This is a teamwork-oriented environment with no trauma cases.
