Travel Surgical Tech - $1,474 per week in Harvey, IL

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Must have current state RN, LPN/LVN, or CNA license Certifications: NBSTSA certification required Must-Have: Strong orthopedic background required Description: The position requires performing surgical tech duties during operations. Candidates must have a strong orthopedic background, including knowledge of various surgical procedures. Experience with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, and total hip and knee replacements is essential. Familiarity with charting and patient care systems, preferably Epic, is preferred. The role requires assisting the surgical team, preparing instruments, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates should possess skills in general OR practices, including crutch fitting, cast application, and splinting. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for successful collaboration with staff. This position involves a set schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday shifts. No on-call or weekend coverage is required.
