Travel Surgical Tech - $1,501 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Surgical Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred License: Required Certifications: NBSTSA, BLS Must-Have: Experience in Neuro, ENT, and Robotics cases is highly preferred Description: The position involves working in a dynamic operating room environment. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a holiday rotation. A weekend commitment of one weekend shift every four-week schedule period is required. On-call duties may include up to four call shifts per month along with weekend coverage. Travelers are expected to float between units as needed to meet facility demands. The main operating room supports a variety of surgical specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, and Robotics. The surgical team consists of a mix of registered nurses and certified surgical technologists. Technologists may be involved in procedures that require advanced techniques and cutting-edge technology. This role is within a Level 1 trauma center and teaching facility. Candidates with experience in orthopedic, neurological, ENT, and robotic surgeries are encouraged to apply. Travelers may need to comply with additional hospital protocols, especially during specific seasons. All required certifications must be current, and a radiation badge will need to be provided. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be submitted during the application process. Any traveler previously employed must be separated from the system for one year before returning.
