Travel Surgical Tech - $1,509 to $1,709 per week in Santa Cruz, CA

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred. (Client notes list ACLS as a certification for techs.)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (documentation/certification required by client).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience with Cerner and Surginet charting systems preferred. (Client uses Cerner - Surginet.)
• Familiarity with Phillips telemetry and Draeger ventilators preferred.
• Experience in an OR setting with cardiac and general surgery cases preferred. (Client OR includes 1 heart room and general rooms.)
• Ability to work in a 1:1 staffing ratio environment and rotate on weekends and be available for weekend call as required by facility scheduling.
• Willingness to complete a facility-specific orientation (approximately 1 week / 12 orientation hours).
