Travel Surgical Tech - $1,511 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum Two (2) years of experience License: NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician (New York License only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: - Two (2) years of experience minimum - Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred - Able to scrub Description: The operating room cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are two robotic surgical systems that are used by multiple services. The surgical program involves organ transplants including livers, kidneys, and hearts. Candidates should possess strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential for optimal patient care. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates will be expected to maintain a sterile environment and assist surgeons during procedures.
