Travel Surgical Tech - $1,559 to $1,759 per week in Santa Maria, CA

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Santa Maria, CA, working in a hospital setting where you will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room. You will prepare the OR, sterilize and set up equipment, assist during procedures, and support patient safety and efficient workflow.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent surgical technologist certification.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a CVOR surgical technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
• Experience working in an OR with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Experience supporting complex cases in an environment with multiple suites. Facility operates 7 suites with approximately 18–20 cases per day.
• Ability to function in 1:1 and 2:1 scrub ratios and to work with assigned charge nurse and OR team.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and respond to call within 30 minutes when assigned. Call includes some nights and weekends and typically includes one week of nights and two 12-hour weekend call shifts per month.
• Orientation availability for a 12-hour orientation period as required by the facility.
• CST preferred. ACLS required for certain roles; verify if required for this opening.
