Travel Surgical Tech - $1,563 to $1,763 per week in Burien, WA

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification (AHA) required.
• WA license required at time of submittal.
• C-section experience required. Experience assisting in OB/LDRP settings preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment preferred; OB/OR suite experience preferred.
• Unit-specific skills: ability to set up and break down vaginal delivery tables, stock LDRP and OR suites, perform daily unit checks, respond to emergencies/urgent situations, and assist with light clerical activities (answering phones/doors).
• Orientation requirements: available for a department orientation (24 hours) and unit orientation (12 hours).

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Unit: OB Tech, LDRP and OR suites (14 LDRP suites).
• Shift Name: Nights. 12-hour shifts, primarily nights; may be flexed to days. Every-other-weekend (EOW).
• Shift Pattern: 3x12 night rotation.
• Call Requirement: No call required.
• Cancellations: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment.
• Orientation Hours: 24 hours department orientation (2 full days) and 12 hours unit orientation noted.
• Floating Requirements: N/A.
