Travel Surgical Tech - $1,583 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 7am - 7pm, Friday - Sunday Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Must-Have: Robotics, Trauma Description: Hiring Process includes profile review and interview with unit manager. Hiring radius is 60 miles. Weekend orientation is required. The unit operates with an average of 37 cases per day. Required certifications include CST and BLS. Common cases include orthopedic trauma, robotics, neurosurgery, plastics, ENT, urology, and trauma. There is a 24/7 charge nurse or house supervisor on duty. Self-scheduling is generally allowed, with primarily 12-hour shifts. There are weeknight call requirements of 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks. Holiday call requirements exist with a 2-hour response time. There is no floating within the facility, except in extreme cases. Scrub color is blue surgical scrubs, provided by the facility. Cancellations of up to 4 shifts are possible during the assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. A BSN is not required for this position. This role is set in an acute care setting.
