Travel Surgical Tech - $1,590 per week in Burbank, CA

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Call coverage required approximately 4-6 times per 6-week schedule, including weekend call rotation.

• 392-bed acute care hospital offering a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding transplants and trauma
• Strong emphasis on orthopedic surgery experience required
• Scrubs provided in any color; free parking available on-site
• Work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive surgical services with advanced technology and robotic-assisted procedures
• 91-day assignment with potential to float between facilities within the state

• Active California Surgical Technologist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience required
• Strong orthopedic surgery experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with bronchoscopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes required
• Preferred experience with pediatric cases and Epic charting system
• LA County fire card obtained within the last 30 days required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
