Travel Surgical Tech - $1,600 to $1,800 per week in Rochester, NY

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• CST
• Experience with General OR procedures
• Experience with gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and lap band procedures
• Experience with vascular procedures including aortic aneurysm repair, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid angioplasty, carotid endarterectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, and femoral popliteal bypass graft
• Experience with ENT procedures including direct laryngoscopy, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, and tracheostomy
• Experience with general surgery procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection open/LAP, and inguinal/umbilical hernia repair
• Experience with breast and endocrine procedures including mastectomy and partial/total thyroidectomy
• Experience with OB/GYN procedures including anterior/posterior repair, bilateral tubal ligation, cervical cerclage, dilation and curettage, and laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures
• Experience with neuro and spine procedures including anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusions, craniotomy, insertion of VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF
• Experience with orthopedic procedures including carpal tunnel release and closed/open reduction of fractures

Assignment Details:

• 4x10-Hour shifts
• Hours: 09:00 - 19:30
