Travel Surgical Tech - $1,630 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care hospital CST experience License: Active CST License Certifications: Active BLS, NBSTA, DORA Certifications Must-Have: Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital CST experience Active NBSTA and DORA Certifications Active BLS Certification Description: This position is for a Travel CST in the Operating Room. The typical shift is from 7 AM to 5 PM. The unit has 16 beds and is staffed with a charge nurse, registered nurses, and certified nursing assistants. The patient-to-staff ratios are managed according to day and night shifts. The unit uses DaVinci robotic equipment. Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech/CPN. Preferred qualifications include experience in transplant and spine procedures. Candidates with prior experience using Meditech will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed include total joints, spine surgeries, kidney and liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics. Schedules are not fixed; the first round of shifts will be scheduled, followed by self-scheduling. On-call duty is required on weekends, resulting in 8-12 calls over an 8-week period with a 30-minute response time.
