Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, maintaining the sterile field, sterilizing and setting up equipment, and providing timely support to the surgical team.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from a CAAHEP-accredited or programmatically accredited surgical technology program and successful completion of the NBSTSA CST examination.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an OR setting.
  • Prior travel clinician experience required for travel submissions. Local applicants will not be accepted for this assignment.
  • Experience with operating room sterile technique, instrument passing, sponge and instrument counts, specimen handling, and intraoperative equipment management.
  • Ability to respond to on-call requirements as needed. Call expectations: approximately 6–8 days per month.
