The work schedule will be from 07:00 to 17:00. Candidates must be competent in Neuro/Spine procedures. The unit has 14 ORs and a staff of 70 FTEs. Staffing includes a charge, RN, and surgical tech per OR during the day shift. Patient ratios are approximately 1:1, estimated but not guaranteed. The type of equipment used includes EMR and Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Neuro and Transplants, as well as Ortho/Spine. Ideal candidates will exhibit team player qualities, a high level of accountability and expertise, and self-direction. Flexibility with day and evening hours will be necessary as needed. On-call requirements include 1-2 call shifts from 17:00 to 19:00 per week. Candidates with Ortho/Joints experience and Level I and trauma experience may be preferred.
