Travel Surgical Tech - $1,701 per week in Santa Rosa, CA

Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years, preferred 5 years License: CA state license preferred, pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: Experience in various surgical procedures including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and more. Ability to float to different units as required. Description: The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the surgical setting. Experience with Epic charting system is required. They should be prepared to assist with a variety of procedures and demonstrate efficient aseptic techniques. The surgical tech will be expected to support a daily census of approximately 25 patients across 8 rooms. Weekend requirements will be based on the needs of the unit. Call may be required, depending on the schedule. The candidate must be flexible regarding shifts and potential floating between sister facilities. Knowledge of specific surgical equipment, including drills for orthopedic and podiatry procedures, is essential. Candidates must be ready to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment aimed at delivering high-quality patient care.
