Travel Surgical Tech - $1,711 per week in Stockton, CA

Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Not required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Cerner experience Description: Must have Cerner experience. All required modules need to be completed prior to arrival. Traveler will be delayed if all modules are not completed. No exceptions will be made. The unit operates multiple OR rooms daily. We can run a maximum of 9-10 rooms each day. On average, we handle 23-25 cases per day. Types of cases include general surgery, vascular, ortho, endo, and urology. We perform a wide variety of procedures but do not handle trauma cases. We have a strong open-heart surgery focus and need additional support in that area. We could use two scrub techs with CVOR experience for mid-shifts. Shift starts at 10:30 AM and can be either 12 or 8 hours. Call is required 4-5 times in a 4-week schedule, but this may vary based on unit needs. Scrub color is provided by the facility. There is no floating required. The cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 4 shifts over a 13-week assignment. Charting is done using the Cerner system.
