Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join a busy Operating Room team in an acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will assist during a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available.
- Maintain accurate surgical counts and follow infection control standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia providers, and the OR team.
