Job Title: Pediatric Surgical/OR Tech Profession: Surgical/OR Tech Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: 4 to 5 years of current Pediatric OR experience License: None required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Completion of a surgical tech program; certification is not required Description: We are seeking a Pediatric Surgical/OR Tech for our Pediatric operating rooms. The role requires current experience in a Pediatric OR setting. Candidates must hold a BLS certification. A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience is preferred. Completion of a surgical tech program is required; certification is not mandatory. The Surgical/OR Tech will be responsible for scrubbing in on various procedures. Pediatric operating rooms provide a full range of surgical services, including cardiac surgery and general surgery. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week with no guaranteed hours. The role may include being on call, with 4 to 6 calls during a 6-week schedule that may involve weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
