Job Title: Surgical/Operating Room Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of current Pediatric Operating Room experience License: None required Certifications: BLS required; Certification not mandatory Must-Have: - Must have completed a surgical technician program - Current Pediatric Operating Room experience Description: Surgical Technician for the Pediatric Operating Rooms. Provide a full range of cardiac surgical services and general surgery. Experience in neuro, orthopedic, plastics, gynecology, ear, nose, and throat, ophthalmology, trauma, and general surgery is required. Work schedule includes 40 hours per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift includes two 12-hour shifts on Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A day shift on Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. One night shift on Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Participation in on-call rotation is required, with 4 to 6 calls per 6-week schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
