Travel Surgical Tech - $1,838 per week in Santa Rosa, CA

Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) or 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM or 9:00 AM start times). Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays. Daily census of approximately 25 patients across 8 operating rooms in an outpatient surgery setting. Call may be requested on an as-needed basis to complete late cases. Floating to main OR may be required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience required; 3-5 years strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• California state license preferred; compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency with orthopedic/podiatry drills and arthroscopy equipment (cameras and light cords)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and general OR procedures
• Experience with ambulatory OR, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopic procedures, and general surgical cases
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates located within 50 miles are considered local
