Travel Surgical Tech - $1,908 per week in Portland, OR

Job Opportunity – Certified Surgical Technologist – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). On-call required: 16 hours weeknight call every 4 weeks and 24 hours weekend call every 4 weeks. Weekend shifts required as needed for department needs. 91-day assignment.

Highlights:

• Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with a 21-room operating suite and daily census of 60
• Gain experience across multiple adult surgical specialties including bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, gynecology, general surgery, colorectal, urology, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and endovascular procedures
• Advanced oncology surgical case focus with exposure to complex procedures and cutting-edge technology
• Utilize Da Vinci Xi and Si robotic surgical systems and work in endovascular and hybrid operating rooms
• Epic charting system with comprehensive orientation provided
• Free parking and scrubs provided for OR staff

Requirements:

• Current certification from NBSTSA or ASATT required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Broad knowledge of surgical equipment and procedures across multiple specialties
• Experience with laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures strongly preferred
• Valid state license or compact license required at time of submission
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
