Travel Surgical Tech - $1,918 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Title: OR Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: DORA required Certifications: BLS, DORA required Must-Have: Proficient to scrub ACL surgeries and arthroscopies/sports medicine Description: Duties include providing technical support in the operating room. Scheduling is assigned by the charge nurse with a six-week rotation for days off. The facility handles various arthroscopies including knee, shoulder, ankle, and wrist procedures. Common surgeries performed are ACLs and a variety of knee and shoulder repairs. Scrubbing for arthroscopies and sports medicine cases is essential. No total knees, total hips, or spine surgeries are performed. On-call is required for case completion only. Techs will not float within the service line. Scrubs will be provided. The daily census includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. A culture of teamwork and collaboration is emphasized in the unit. All facility-specific modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment. Travelers must ensure compliance with facility-specific requirements.
