Travel Surgical Tech - $1,928 per week in Manchester, NH

Job Title: Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technician Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certification required Certifications: BLS for Surgical Technologists; ACLS for Registered Nurses Must-Have: Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology experience, and neuro. Description: The operating room has 10 operating rooms. The facility is licensed for 330 beds. The staff consists of approximately 50 members. Day shift is primarily made up of RNs, surgical technologists, and unit assistants. Night shift staff is part of a call team. Patient ratios are 1:1. Equipment includes a DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump. The electronic medical record system used is Altera. Typical procedures performed include orthopedic surgeries, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial/neurosurgery. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and a cooperative attitude. Floating to other areas is not required. The dress code consists of provided surgical scrubs. Weekend and on-call duties may require occasional late stays during the week, as well as overnight shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. Holiday coverage is as needed.
