Description: This position involves working in the operating room. The unit is licensed for 330 beds. It has 10 operating rooms and approximately 50 staff members. The staff includes day shift RNs, scrub techs, and other support personnel. Night shift coverage is provided by a call team. Patient ratios are set at 1:1. The unit utilizes advanced equipment such as the DaVinci Robot, endovascular suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump. The EMR system used is Altera. Typical hiring profiles emphasize the following skills: Experience with orthopedics, robotics, gynecological procedures, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic neurosurgery. The ideal candidate will have a hard-working attitude and promote a positive work environment. Flexibility is required for assigned late-call shifts during the week and occasional overnight shifts on weekends. Holiday coverage may be required on an as-needed basis.
