Job Title: Surgical Tech - Vascular Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience required License: BLS required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: - Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred - Experience with General and Trauma required - Experience with vascular and endoscopic procedures required - Experience with colorectal and gastro robotic procedures required - Da Vinci experience highly preferred Description: Surgical Tech - Day shift with possible night shift rotation. B-weekly orientation is available. There is a possibility of off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, but there are many times when there is no off-shifting. Weeknight call requirements average 1-2 nights per week. Weekend call is required every 4-5 weekends on average. 30 operating rooms with 60-80 cases performed per day. First-time travelers are not accepted. Candidates must have experience with abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and laparoscopic assisted procedures. The ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate is essential. Robotics experience is preferred, particularly with the Da Vinci surgical system. Compliance with workplace requirements is mandatory. All positions require a commitment to the highest standards of patient care and safety.
