Job Title: Operating Room Technician Profession: ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3+ years of inpatient surgery, Level 1 trauma experience required License: Not specified Certifications: Must have NBSTSA certification, BLS Must-Have: Positive attitude, flexible, must be competent in at least 5 of the services listed, excellent communication skills Description: MID - 12-hour shifts with rotation. Shift start times are 7 AM on days and 7 PM on nights. Every third weekend may be required. Every other holiday may be necessary. Call required as per schedule. May float to other Operating Rooms as needed. Experience in trauma is mandatory. Surgical services include general, gynecological, urological, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, spine. There are 22 operating rooms. Operating rooms are staffed 24/7. Must possess excellent communication skills. Willingness to float to other operating room campuses if needed.
