Travel Surgical Tech - $1,955 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years experience, with at least 1 year of Trauma Level I experience required. License: Must have current license prior to start date. Certifications: BLS and NBSTSA required. Must-Have: - Teaching Client experience - Trauma Level I experience Description: Teaching hospital experience is required. Trauma Level I experience is mandatory. Call and holiday coverage are required. No block scheduling is available. Candidates must have skill sets in Neuro, Ortho Trauma, and Totals. Experience in Neuro Spine, Basic Craniotomy, VP shunt, and Thrombectomies is needed. Experience in Trauma procedures including Spleen, Organ Donation, GSW, Thoracotomies is essential. Urology skills in Cystoscopy and stent placements are required. Candidates should be familiar with General, GYN, and Laparoscopic cases. Basic ENT, Robotics, and Plastics experience is preferred, especially with flap and scope. Skills in Dilation & Curettage and Laparoscopic-assisted gynecological procedures are required. Core competencies include Neuro, Ortho GEN, Plastic, GYN, ENT, GU, and Trauma. Special procedures include instrument and tray reprocessing for ortho, ortho/totals, neuro/spine/crani. Floating to different units is required of all travelers. Compliance with background policies will be necessary prior to start.
