Travel Surgical Tech - $1,980 to $2,180 per week in Aurora, CO

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiovascular surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the OR, sterilizing and setting up equipment, and providing direct support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in cardiovascular (CV) surgery as a Certified Surgical Technologist. (Client requires 3 years CV Surgery.)
• Experience working in a hospital operating room environment, preferably in a CVOR or cardiac surgery unit.
• Experience with Stryker and GE surgical equipment and familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Flexible, confident, team-oriented approach. Candidate must be able to work within multidisciplinary teams of RNs and CSTs.
• Ability and willingness to float to other affiliated hospitals as needed. (Client indicates support to other system hospitals and floating will be required.)
• Preferred: Experience with procedures such as CABG, AAA repair, valve replacement, and TAVR.

• Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / OR Heart Team.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 07:00–17:00.
• Shift Pattern: Weekday shifts. No weekends required.
• Call: Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing and will be discussed during interview.
• Team Composition: Day teams typically include 2 RNs and 1 CST. Patient ratios are 1:1 for CV cases.
