Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Washington State surgical tech license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA preferred Must-Have: Level I trauma experience, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine with implants Description: WA surgical tech license required. Include interview times with profile. Position specialty: OR CST/Surgical Services. Start date for the position is 08/03/2026. Shift details: Days 0645-1915, 3x12. Every other weekend required. No on-call requirement. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Types of cases required: level I trauma experience including Orthopedic trauma, Neuro (craniotomies), spine with implants, and general cases. No cardiac or transplant cases will be seen. Preferred types of cases include vascular, GYN, ophthalmology, urology, and ENT. The facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital, and a Level 1 trauma center with a total of 500 staffed beds. Daily case volume is 60-70 per day for the department. Unit is heavy with Orthopedic, spine, neuro, and robotic cases. Pediatric experience is preferred. Required experience includes scrubbing in Orthopedics, Trauma, Neurosurgery, spine with implants, and General. Experience with drills, ORIF, plates and screws, and spinal fusion is required. Background checks will be conducted, and candidates must disclose any hits when submitted. References will be required prior to hiring.
