Travel Surgical Tech - $1,984 to $2,184 per week in Salem, MA

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. This position supports a busy hospital operating room with a robust orthopedic total joint program and a variety of surgical specialties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• 2+ years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room environment.
• Ability to scrub orthopedic cases and familiarity with Mako robotic-assisted systems.
• Experience using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Willingness to float to other services as needed.
• Availability to work 10-hour shifts and to take call 2–4 times per month.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-volume orthopedic total joint program.
• Previous experience in a hospital with multiple operating rooms.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00 to 17:30.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
• May float to other services.
• Clinician-to-patient ratio typically 1:1 in the OR.
