Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - First Assist- Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide direct assistance to surgeons during procedures
- Support postoperative patient care by dressing wounds and monitoring recovery
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - First Assist- CSTFA certification
- Prior experience as a Certified Surgical Technician
