Job Title: Surgical Tech – Ophthalmology (Travel Assignment)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:15 AM – 3:15 PM
Call and DOT shifts required
No local candidates within 50 miles
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician with a strong background in ophthalmology/eye surgery for a travel assignment at a busy outpatient surgery center in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in assisting with eye procedures and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience within the specialty
BLS certification (required)
Surgical Tech Certification (NBSTSA) required
Extensive experience in ophthalmology/eye surgery (required)
Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons during ophthalmologic procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
Collaborate with surgical team members for optimal patient care
