Seven Healthcare are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician specializing in the operating room for a travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. This role involves preparing and caring for pre-operative patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician
  • Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for potential breaches
  • Provide comfort and support for pre-operative patients
  • Transport patients to and from the Operating Room suite
  • Establish and maintain the sterile field
  • Prepare the Operating Room: setup tables, instruments, and supplies
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team
  • Adhere to OR sanitation policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control the surgical environment

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Surgical Technology or accredited LVN/LPN program
  • 2 or more years of experience preferred
  • BLS certification (AHA only) required
  • Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required
